ski and snowboard construction:

bottom (down, sledging surface) – it’s made of P-tex plastic or graphite plastic, from that depends the sledging qualities

welts – they are located on the all length of down ski edge / board and they are manufactured by different metal alloy

сore – most inside ski / board part, there are different cores / akryl, foam, hydrated, wooden and so on/ and from them ski/board quality depends.

surface coat (cover) – protect ski/board from outside. It can be maden from different polish, rubber sorts.

Ski and snowboard qualities:

torsion– determinate the irrelevance of ski / snowboard twine. As smaller twin the ski / board has, as better their balance is.

hardness–it’s different on the ski/board length and depends of ski / board variety. There is a different hardness selection that depends of personal technique control, weight and high.

arch– can be harder or softer. It helps for ski / board governance in the turns, as together with hardness, it also affect on their stability. As better technique you have as more important the hardness is.

Constructions type:

sandwich – construction – metal layers, wood, fiberglass and so on arranged one of the top of the other horizontally or one by one vertically. Skis / snowboards with this kind of construction have very good qualities. This construction is expensive for manufacturing and is suitable and usable in the highest ski / board class.
cap - system (capsule construction) – ski sides and protection layer are fused and create a support construction – reducing the irrelevance twine of the ski / snowboard without any effect on hardness on their length.

Ski sorts:

easycarvе – for beginners – skis are lighter, softer, with bigger turns radius that allows to beginners mistakes permition and reduce the contusion risks.
allroundcarve – skis that allow more turns freedom and piste’s variety

lengths: 150 - 180 cm, radius: 14 -16 m

allmountain – suitable for all terrains and pistes relief and outside piste areas. They are wider on the all ski length.

lengths: 160 - 180 cm, radius: 16 - 18 m

funcarvе – extremely small radius /7-12 cm/ skis, insisting a good carving technique control.

blades–this skis allow main ski techniques absorption and they totally accelerate carving turns study. lengths: 80 – 120 c m., radius: 5 – 8 m.

race carve –

for slalom - : lengths 150 -175 cm, radius: 9 -15 m

for gigantic slalom - lengths: 165 -185 cm, radius: 16 - 22 m

For ski - cross - lengths: 165 -185 cm, radius: 16 - 22 m

race World Cup – competitive skis with characteristics determinated according to FIS rules.
Classified on:

For slalom - lengths: man >= 165 cm, woman >= 155 cm, radius:without limits
For gigantic slalom - lengths: man >= 185 cm, woman >= 180 cm, radius >= 21 m.
For super gigantic slalom - : lengths: man >= 205 cm, woman >= 200 cm, radius >= 33 m
For letting down - lengths: man >= 215 cm, woman >= 210 cm, radius >= 40 m.

for (freeride) – they are much more wider than piste skis, that allow them to keep easier on the top of deep snow.

lengths: 165 - 195 cm, radius: 18 - 28 m.

for (freestyle) - they are for jumps andfun in the park. It’s characteristically that they are twin tip which allows good and easy landing as with a face as with a back. Skis are soft but with extremely elastic qualities.

board sorts/types

hard boards – they are made for hard automats and boots. The board is with e big hardness and is for piste skiing.
types are as follow:

For slalom - lengths: 145 - 160 cm, radius: 7 - 10 m
For gigantic slalom: 160 - 175 cm, radius: 12 - 14 m
For boarder cross: 160 - 175 cm, radius: 12 - 14 m

soft boards– they are made for soft automats and boots. .

(race) – for boarder cross
(freestyle) – for jumps and fun in snowboard and ski parks for piste drive.
(freeride) – for out of piste drive. They are wider, longer and harder then these for freestyle.

There are manufacturing also boards together for the freestyle and for freeride.
